In the upper right-hand corner you can watch a video-fragment that was make by a Dutch TV programme called "My First Home". In this video, John Kraft, founder of PimpYourKitchen, tells the viewers something about our company and our product.
His new, beautiful kitchen was finished, but still something about it was bothering John: that wide open space in the middle. Wasn’t there something he could place in that big hole? As John is a photographer, he wanted something photographic. After reseach and testing, John came up with the idea of using a large, special laminated photograph as a splashback for his kitchen. He received more and more positive reactions from family and friends, and discovered that more people besides him wanted to have something special to use as a splashback. As a result, he began to wonder if this idea wasn’t something he could put on the market. He started PimpYourKitchen as a by-product of his visual communication company in The Netherlands, ‘TOON visuele communicatie’, but it now has become a main activity due to its success.
Basically, our product is just a photograph on the wall, but it is a very special one. Our splashbacks are laminated and, therefore, washable. Moreover, the visual is water-resistant, heat-resistant and we give a 5 year guarantee that your splashback will stay colour-fast. The visual is custom-made to the measurements of your kitchen. The splashback can only be ordered on our website and is sent to you in a cardboard tube by mail.

Our company is keen to partner with other companies who have an interest in this market segment. We are always interested in working together with kitchen showrooms or suppliers who would like to have one of our splashbacks in their showroom, such as the partnership we have with Grando Kitchens in Holland. We are also working with Solvite, the glue manufacturer, who have tested our product in their German laboratory and English . Furthermore, we are developing special offers with magazines and tv programmes.
